I'm sitting here eating salted maple ice cream after a perfect 62 degree sunny day with our weekly forest play date group where we made felted acorns and dissected a found owl pellet. For the last month I've been thinking how much I love fall and that it may just be my favorite time of year officially. Because not only is it absolutely beautiful and full of color everywhere you look, it's not too hot, there's not too much rain and we are blessed with so many pumpkin patches to visit, it has become my favorite thing to do. Tomorrow we are going to check out Multnomah falls and it will be another perfect 67 degree day. I can't wait. So here's to fall, and the best 2 months of the year.

Not the best lighting for this photo, but this is my favorite pumpkin spice latte cake that I've made twice now and took to the harvest moon gathering. Click to go to Pinterest for the recipe.

These are the best electrolyte drink mixes I've tried so far. After my terrible bout of pneumonia where I got seriously dehydrated having a fever for days in the high desert, terrible combo, I was really wishing I had some electrolyte drink mix on hand. I didn't start drinking any until day 4 and it was the most awful tasting one ever, Pedialyte, which is what my dad could find at the grocery store in Sunriver. So when someone recommended these on Instagram I ordered them to try and they tasted a million times better, I wish I had these at that time. But I only got the 7 pack to try them because they are expensive! $24 for that pack. So I also bought the big bag of Liquid I.V. at Costco to have on hand as well and I have to say this one from The Absorption Company tastes much better, though both are far better tasting than Pedialyte. This Aries full moon was such a beautiful and powerful one, did you feel it too? I loved this Aries full moon foot bath recipe from @marysia_miernowska on IG. Rose petals, rosemary and sliced ginger. As I was making it I realized I completely got out of the habit of soaking my feet and hadn't done it in so long, here's to soaking up all those last rays of warm sunshine outside while soaking our feet!
